Nandu Madhav is a versatile and accomplished Indian actor and theatre practitioner. With a career spanning over three decades, he has established himself as a respected figure in Marathi and Hindi cinema.
Born in Gevrai, Maharashtra, India, Nandu Madhav began his journey in the arts at a young age. He went on to complete his education in Aurangabad, earning a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws degree. However, his true passion lay in acting, and he soon found himself immersed in the world of theatre and film.
Nandu’s filmography boasts a range of critically acclaimed films, including “Harishchandrachi Factory,” offcial entry for Oscars in 2010, “Bangarwaadi, “Shala,” and “Y.” His performances have earned him numerous awards and nominations, including the prestigious State Award, National Film Award and Screen and Filmfare Award Marathi.


In addition to his work in film, Nandu is also a seasoned theatre practitioner. He has been involved in several notable plays, including “Wada Chirebandi (triology),” “Shobha Yatra,” and “Sanman Haus.” More recently he has directed and produced, “Shivaji Underground in Bhimnagar Mohalla.” His contributions to the world of theatre have been recognized with several awards and accolades.
Byond Marathi industry, he has also delved in Bollywood, with films such as, “Shool,” “Dayraa,” “Darpan ke Peeche,” and “Simba.” Currently you can see him in web series like, “Taali,” “Scam 2,” and “The Secret of the Shiledars” on Indian OTT platforms.
