He was exposed to a cultural environment as a child and caught the theatre bug in his college days. He was introduced to the greats/veterans such as Badal Sarkar, Habib Tanvir, Satyajit Ray, Akira Kurosawa, through his seniors (activists) while finishing Law graduation in Aurangabad. This changed his perspective of this field for the better. At a later stage while choosing acting as a career path he tried to remain true to what illegal immigration essay free he had learned in these early days.

Nandu Madhav is most popular for acting in the lead role in the movie ‘Harishachandrachi factory’, India’s entry to the Oscar Awards in 2010. He directed a play called ‘Shivaji Underground in Bhimnagar Mohalla’ in which tried to shed light on the true and little-known side of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Today, while pursuing mainstream theatre and films, he is partial to his roots in parallel. He believes that performing arts play a crucial & vital role in nurturing the healthy societal environment.
